Copyright Policy

This policy explains how yt-mp3.ws approaches copyright, what we expect from users, and how rights holders can report content they believe infringes their rights.

Respect for copyright holders

yt-mp3.ws provides a general-purpose YouTube to MP3 conversion tool. We respect the rights of creators and rights holders, and we expect the same from every user of the service.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights or permission before converting or downloading any content. The service does not grant any licence or permission to copy, download or redistribute third-party material.

Copyright complaint process

If you are a rights holder (or an authorised representative) and believe content processed through our service infringes your copyright, contact us at support@yt-mp3.ws with the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  • The YouTube video URL and the approximate time and date of the conversion, if known.
  • Your contact information (name and email address).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.

Notice and response process

We review complete notices promptly and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to reported material. Converted files are stored temporarily (about 24 hours) and are deleted automatically; we do not host a library of user content.

Repeat infringement

In appropriate circumstances we may restrict or block users who repeatedly infringe copyright. We also enforce technical limits that prevent bulk or automated abuse of the service.

Important limitation

yt-mp3.ws is an independent web-based conversion tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube or Google LLC. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
